On July 22, 2005, gtd gave permission for shows to be hosted at the Archive:

i, greg davis, give you permission to archive my shows for public download and noncommercial, royalty-free circulation.

for now, the only allowed recordings will be from my own personal collection of soundboard recordings.

i will begin uploading my recordings soon (over 100 shows). this will take some time and i plan on doing it slowly. one show at a time.

audience recordings and fan recordings will be allowed after i have completed my uploading / archiving.
no fan recordings allowed at this time.
fans may send recordings to me now for inclusion in the archive.

the archive will only be for greg davis solo shows. any shows that i performed in collaboration with other musicians are not allowed at this time.

i will upload flac files. i will also allow VBR mp3's as well (192kbps or thereabouts preferred). flac and VBR are also allowed for streaming.
no 64kbps mp3s or streams please!
all files and streams must be stereo.

any recordings, whole or in part, that have been released commercially will not be allowed in the archive.
if a future release contains whole or part of a live recording that is on the archive, that show must be removed.

my general taping policies are that audience recording is allowed at my shows with my permission before the show.
i generally ask that the taper sends me a copy of their recording.
no soundboard recording is allowed at my shows except by myself or by permission.
video taping is also allowed provided that i receive a copy of it as well.
please follow venue policies. venue policies may supercede my policies.

people may trade recordings of my live shows in an even one to one exchange or for b&p.
live recordings may not be sold or distributed by anyone without my permission.
no money may be made from my live recordings in any way.

all live recordings are the property of greg davis.
i have the exclusive rights to them and i may do what i wish with them at anytime.
